Background

Story has it that Susuana was born a miracle child in Dorkortsowa, Accra, Ghana. Her parents were forced to move to avoid the embarrassing crowd who daily flocked to their home curious, about the hairy new born whose photograph only showed a bundle of hair in the shape of a baby. At the age of two and a half she was using alarming visible spiritual gifts of visions and prophecy which have remained with her until today.

Barren for the first ten years of her marriage, in 1965 she vowed to give her entire life to Jesus, if God blessed her with a child. In 1966, her prayer was answered and her vocation was revitalized. Her dynamic ministry and faith was challenged in 1974 when she was arrested by the Military Government, for preaching the gospel and casting out devils. She served a twenty-four day sentence, during which God commanded her in a vision to preach the gospel in all parts of the world; she asked God how this could be done with her background of illiteracy. God replied ‘ I will be with you as I have always done.’

Education and Qualification

Susuana attended the Pentecostal Bible College in Ghana between 1973 and 1976 and obtained a Diploma in Ministerial Work.

Church Ministries

Susuana was ordained in 1993 as a Reverend Minister, was the first woman to be made a Pentecostal Bishop in the United Kingdom, Europe and the Republic of Ireland in 1995 and an Archbishop in 2013. She has worked with the International Ministerial Council of Great Britain (IMCGB) and played the role of intercessor within the Intercessory department. She is an active member of the Ghana Pentecostal Council. In addition she is among the founding pioneers of the Trans – Atlantic Pacific Alliance of Churches (TAPAC).

Achievements

Susuana founded Jesus Christ Of Nazareth International Church with its headquarters in Accra, Ghana. From its set up until now the church has over twenty branches in Ghana. Under her leadership the church has one consecrated Bishop, six ordained Apostles, over twenty eight Reverend Ministers, Evangelists and countless numbers of missionary workers in the vineyard of God.

Between 1990 and 1994 she opened a wing of the church in the United Kingdom (UK) and now the church has four branches in London with a membership of 250. She currently resides in the UK but does travel extensively all over the world to do the work of God, is touching lives and bringing them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

In 1997 Susuana started continental missionary work and has been able to open one branch in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and another in Aachan, Germany. Membership in these countries total 200.

By the leadings of The Holy Spirit under Susuana’s ministry the church runs leadership training and conferences in Ghana, Germany and London. They have been set up to equip the ministers of God, church workers to do God’s work.

Through the power of God great works are being done through her prophetic ministry. The sick are being healed and barren women have received directions to obtain divine breakthroughs in their lives.  The mentally ill have been cured and chronic cases have been referred from hospitals to Susuana for healing. Many souls from different racial and ethnic backgrounds have equally been saved and are doing God’s work in her ministry.

Above all, Susuana, favourably known as ‘Aunty Suzie’, is the wife of an ex-military officer, she has 9 children that are all resident in the UK, over 11 grandchildren and has been active in The Lord’s service for over 54 years.
